LibertyBank Balloons Over Bend is proud to announce a partnership between Impressive Events and Lay It Out Events to produce this year’s Balloons Over Bend.

Impressive Events has joined with Lay It Out Events, producers of Bend WinterFest, Bite of Bend, Central Oregon Earth Day Fair, Redmond Sunfest and the Snowriders Summit to help grow Balloons Over Bend into a premier festival for the Central Oregon region.

This year Balloons Over Bend will expand with a two day festival at The Shops at the Old Mill. Not only will balloon enthusiasts be able to see balloons flying over Bend throughout the weekend, but they can also enjoy some great festivities at The Shops and treat themselves to the Night Glow along the river.

The expanded weekend activities will include balloon launching from Jewell Elementary on Saturday and Sunday mornings, the Saturday evening Night Glow at The Shops, as well as a the return of the evening celebration at The Shops which will now include live music, a children’s area and great food. This year will also see the introduction of a street painting exhibition. “We believe that Balloons Over Bend in a location like the Shops at the Old Mill will become a regional attraction for Central Oregon,” says Lee Perry, Event Director, Lay It Out Events. “We feel fortunate to be in a position to work with The Shops and Impressive Events on an event that can literally fly.”

Balloons Over Bend will kick off the summer festival season on June 7th and 8th, 2008.
